In the middle of the lockdown of the pandemic, I was asked to realize an exhibition at relatively short notice. I decided to combine older works that I had available in the Berlin studio with new ones conceived for the exhibition. In the middle of the room, at a central point, there was a simple rack on which a variety of objects, models and sculptural sketches were presented. This was a kind of “storage-display”, a dense accumulation of works from a period from 1989 to the present. Everyday objects and materials that still occupy my mind to this day: clothes, furniture, comics, boxes, … Around the scaffolding, various works were placed on the walls and ceiling, activating and exploring the space at different heights.
