Fulfillment 2.0 creates its own framework that transfers the individual sculptures into a larger context where private and public space are blended. The former installation Die Erfüllung (The Fulfillment), shown at Art Unlimited in Basel in 2002, was adapted to the existing spatial conditions of the Kunstmuseum Bonn. Significant parts of the original installation were removed, although the remaining fragment still has architectonical elements such as floor, wall, ledge, window, roof and column. This spatial syntax is required in order to be able to establish the – albeit rudimentary – context of a „home“ with its proportions and related aspects of inside and outside, above and below, etc., which was present in the original installation, adding another layer of meaning to the individual sculptures. Certain art works kept their original place within the structure, others moved to the surrounding museum walls, and some new objects updated the overall picture.
