Mullegården is a pre–school where the children spend a lot of time outdoors. The schoolhouse and the preschool yard’s huts, playhouses, storage rooms, shelters and other small buildings have been transformed into model-sized sculptures placed in a tree-like setting with a model of the school itself in the centre. The small buildings have taken up different positions and circles like the planets around the sun – the school building itself. All the models can also function as birdhouses, forming a parallel world where the birds take the role of the children.
